Mental Health First Aid

This course is comparable to the CPR courses that teach how to respond in a medical emergency, but MHFA focuses on response to a mental health emergency. It addresses the signs of mental health struggles, what one can do to help stabilize someone in crisis, and when someone needs to be referred for further assistance. This course is now being desired and even required of many professions, including those in human services, healthcare, corrections, and law enforcement.
