Virginia's Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) provides, a simple, low-cost tool for people to document their workplace skills and for employers to match those skills to fill their open positions. The CRC matches the right people to the right jobs. The CRC based on WorkKeys® Assessments, consists of a series of tests that measures foundational and soft skills and offers specialized assessments to target institutional needs.
Three assessments (45 minutes each) administered for certificate completion are:
- Applied Mathematics: measures the ability to apply mathematics principles to math related problems encountered in the workplace.
- Reading for Information: measures the ability to understand and apply written information presented in workplace documents.
- Locating Information: measures the ability to find, analyze, and apply information presented in workplace graphics.
