The HazMat 8 hour course meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for 8 hours of yearly refresher training for hazardous waste site workers. The class is designed for site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances and/or health hazards. It covers the HazWoper standards, hazardous chemicals, safety and health plans, safety hazards, site control, methods of air monitoring, medical surveillance, personal protective and respiratory equipment, and decontamination.
