Virginia's Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) provides, a simple, low cost tool for individuals to document their workplace skills and for employers to match those skills to fill their open positions. The CRC matches the right people to the right jobs. The CRC is based on WorkKeys® Assessments and consist of a series of tests that measures foundational and soft skills and offers specialized assessments to target institutional needs.
For certificate completion three assessments are administered. Each assessment is 45 minutes.
- Applied Mathematics: measures the ability to apply mathematics principles to math related problems encoutered in the workplace.
- Reading for Information: measures the ability to understand and apply written information presented in workplace documents.
- Locating Information: measures the ability to find, analyze, and apply information presented in workplace graphics.
