| You will gain knowledge and understanding of herbalist study techniques, study techniques in responsible wildcrafting, learn to gather, clean, dry, and use herbs for healing. In addition, you will acquire knowledge of the healing properties and side effects of ten herbs common to the Southwest Virginia region. By the end of class you will be able to explain what herbalism means to you and use herbs effectively and safely.
